Which team does everyone think will have the most surprising "non-protected" player?

There are a few surprises, but not necessarily in the way that you think (e.g., non-protected). *hint*

And a large contingent of fans on this board will be more surprised by who WAS protected...and will be calling for their GM's head (again). *unrelated hint*

I'm hoping this doesn't mean bye bye Roneeka or Sancho...

Sorry, you will have to figure it out from the hints I gave you above. The second hint is pretty easy.

Random thought...laughing at the use of the word "unprotected" by Slovy in light of DeMya's announcement. We know it was you, Slovy. Don't lie to us. You lured pure DeMya with a promise of the SheDunk catalog cover!

Styxfan, there are not a large contingent of Mystics fans on this board. The large contingent...calling for the head of the GM...it should sound familiar.

LOL!

Thanks to Cam's sense of humor for demonstrating once again that "The Mind Is A Terrible Thing!"

DeMya has pink Shedunk sweatshirt.

Slovy's dating a woman who's not a basketball player and is even shorter than he is.

The Brigade jokes a lot with Slovy because he showed up at more Mercury games in 2004 than Plenette did. Very Happy

Plus, DeMya is one of Slovy's faves (along with Gwen Jackson and Wynter Whitley).

And Slovy was always willing to go drinking with the Brigade!

Wynter had plenty of game....

Two major surgeries in her college career...her father died (not when she was in college, but earlier)...her brother was killed in an accident (when she was in college)...her best friend was killed in an accident (during college). Basketball was not her major priority in college...and she was still Duke's best post defender and most versatile defender.

I hope Plenette doesn't read this board - I have a season ticket for Chicago too...

So Van left Snow unprotected?

If Cat goes to Chicago, I think I'll scream. Especially if they also pick up Bernie, 'cause that would just be ridiculous.

Yeah, I meant enough game to get into the WNBA.

Wow. I did not know that about her. I knew she had nagging injuries but I didnt know the personal stuff. Wow, that'd be so hard to deal with.

Oh, and tell me Trudi left TSB unprotected Laughing

Uhh, I'm gonna take the hint to mean the Liberty. I'm not big on Moore, but know others were, so perhaps it was her. But the bigger deal would be Elena. Is she a UFA? Ann, Christon, Hammon, and VJ all had to be protected. To me, giving up Nova would be assanine, but maybe she told the Libs she isn't coming back.

I was fortunate enough to meet Wynter when she was a junior. She's a nice as she is pretty. Cam's got some great pics of the goddess!

Enough game? - maybe not.

Enough interest? - definitely not.

Wynter is studying Forensic Anthropology.
