Memphis leads Vandi 43-27 at the half.

Vandi has been driving the lane with mixed results while letting Memphis shoot wide open jumpers at the other end.

The Tigers haven't beaten Vandi in almost 30 years.

Interesting result. Memphis wins 75-59....but I think they only went 6-16 from the FT line down the stretch. Vandy fouled way too much at the end. It was dumb.

Did anyone hear the little snippet about Taylor Williams of Memphis? She is a bio-medical engineering student and is going to medical school because her younger sister has a heart condition and she wants to work on inventing something that would help her. WOW! A true student-athlete.

Very impressive win for Memphis, but a disappointing loss for Vandy. Memphis started out strong and never let Vandy get back into the game.

One of the stranger comments from the color commentator.

Said it seemed like every time down the court there was a Memphis player on the floor going after the ball. Then commented that while she appreciated the effort, that was too much and it was "inefficient."

Pretty sure that's the first time I've ever heard diving for loose balls considered "inefficient." I was trying to figure out what she had in mind as the preferred alternative. Standing by and letting the other team recover the loose ball? And how would that be more "efficient"?
