But only if you draw him (and Minnie) in black and white with no gloves. Most other images are still protected.

I recall that Hamas showed a video of someone wearing a Mickey Mouse-type costume about 15 years ago for a Palestinian children's TV show. I don't know if the Disney company took legal action against the use back then.

But now with Mickey in the public domain, I wonder if Mickey will be used in further propaganda without legal consequences.
