eventually D-Rob.

Adams if she gets her act straight.

Not a bad young nucleus to build on.

Where'd you put Appel?

I did a little a research on Ndour. She's a naturalized member of the Spanish national team. It appears that Spain has the same problem as Australia: FIBA only allows one naturalized player per roster. So is Sancho Lyttle in and Ndour out, for sure?

I don't see both Gwathmey and Martin making it. I think Martin is the better option. Based on what he said, Dan seems to really like the defensive ability of Martin and her versatility. She's very similar to Powers, but I'd say Aerial may be more talented. But, I think Brittney was POY and Co-DPOY this year. She also has a fantastic mid range game. If Ndour can come back, that would be huge. Also, McBride would play SG in this scenario finally. Very Happy I'm also counting that we will be watching the waivers. Ayayi is also a SF imo, but I'm not sure what her plans are.

Hughes said Ndour is coming. What that means national team I don't know

Regarding Appel I was only talking about the younger players there

Why would You not keep the draft choices instead of some of those others?

Since he made the big investment in Gwathmey, it's going to take a lot for another player to take her place, in my opinion. He'll give her a fair shot. He must have seen something he liked if he felt the needed to go that high of a pick for a trade. She could have easily shown up third round, but obviously he didn't want to take that chance. When you look at all the talent that didn't get drafted, the whole ordeal is a bit confounding.

We are kind of guard heavy, which is why Im not sure sure all 3 will make it. Unless, he has plans have Martin and Gwathemey play the 2 and 3. I also think that if a post becomes available via waivers, then I think we'd go for it. I also think if we invite some of the talent that didn't get drafted, like say Kaylon Williams or Shereesha Richards, they'd have a chance. Haley Peters was also signed to some sort of contract before the draft, she has been in Spain, as well.

But Ndour is coming? That's really good to know.

Yeah....I haven't really seen him say much regarding that pick and trade. In one article, he raved on Jefferson and Martin. He actually said, Martin may be the best rebounder in the draft. With Gwathmey, he just said that many didn't know her, but she has some skills they'd like to work with.

But back to the trade/trick, it wouldn't shock me if Jia actually wanted out. She's 34, so maybe she wasn't interested in building part of a rebuild?

Ndour is supposed to be, not sure about Ayayi.

I was really just trying to get a list of all of the players coming in--I wasn't really trying to cut players.

So, based on what I've heard from the masses.

Jefferson/Colson/Logic
McBride/Montgomery (Eldebrink?)
Martin/Ayayi?
Hamby/Adams/Ndour
Appel/Alexander

I don't know how you guys view Montgomery--or who SA has for the SF position.

Montgomery mostly played SF for NY. She was the starter for 20 games in 2014.

Montgomery or Adams.

You dropped Gwathameny off you latest roster. Hughes gave up a nice player for her. He's gonna give her more of a chance than other low end rookies.

Adams is in no way a SF. Montgomery starts at SF for now. The Stars best option for 2017 might be to trade either Robinson or Jefferson & Appel somewhere for a solid starting center.

PG: Jefferson/Logic or Colson
SG: McBride/Eldebrink
SF: Montgomery/Gwathmey/Ayayi
PF: Hamby/Adams/Ndour
C: Appel/Alexander

STARS 2017
PG: Robinson/Jefferson
SG: DeShields/Eldebrink
SF: McBride/Gwathmey/Ayayi
PF: Hamby/Adams/Ndour
C: Appel/Alexander

Hamby played some SF last year; I'd expect them to go three guards normally and Hamby if they go bigger

Dan Hughes is probably on his last season. The SAS are badly in need of new leadership.

Offensively she could be. On defense, I'd want her flopping around in the paint.

It seems she played at UNLV about a decade ago.

She graduated UNLV in 2009. She's been playing overseas since then, for clubs in Greece, Italy, France, and Israel.
