Interesting that one of the First Team All WNBA players who is not sitting out got left off the list.

Delle Donne fans aren't going to be happy with 5th place.

I guess they don't think her team will make the playoffs and therefore put her name into the MVP discussion.

I think Voepel agrees with my assessment that Diggins won't be as prominent this year because TUL will be a more balanced team. Balanced teams win games, not individual accolades. Notice how Maya wasn't awarded MVP in Minnesota's Championship 2013 season, but she won in 2014 when the team badly lacked balance?

CHI with Fowles sitting out and bringing in a rookie replacement for her, and with Cappie being on the severe downslide, this would be a good year for Delle Donne to make a bid for MVP. She'll need to be prominent for CHI.

Maybe Mechelle was one of the smart people who voted Whalen first team… or not. Cool

The 2013 Sparks had just as much balance, but the voters that year didn't bother to figure that out. Cool

I think its too early to make predictions on MVP. I'll wait till 34 games are played and then vote for Angel.

I dont think that Tulsa is that balanced for Diggins not to be in the discussion. A big three of Diggins, Sims and Glory is a whole different group then Maya, Whalen and Augustus Exclamation

Angel would actually be in my preseason top 3...just a hunch.

Also, Zune, c'mon now. Diggins #1? Her team may not even make the playoffs. And I'd be surprised if she repeats the success she had last season, to be honest.

Lynx 28-6
shock 24-10
sparks 20-14
mercury 19-15
stars 9- 25
storm 6- 28

Mercury will lose Taurasi/Taylor for the season and Griner for 7 games.
Los Angeles will lose Parker/Toliver for part of the season, not to mention Gruda.
San Antonio:Adams and Mcbride are still rehabbing offseason injuries. They also lose Hammon.
Seattle will struggle
Minnesota will be Minnesota.
Tulsa : Diggins and sims will improve,They also add zahui B,R Williams,P.Pierson and K.Christmas.The Tulsa depth is going to wear teams down.

If Taurasi,Taylor.Parker and Toliver were not sitting out,my standings would look like this.

Mercury 26-8
Lynx 25-9
Los Angeles 23-11
Tulsa 19-15
stars 7-27
storm 4-30

On paper,Moore and Delle Donne will outplay Diggins, but Skylar will get the Parker treatment.

You've got the league eight games under .500, which is impossible.
