Anyone know if they're going to have another preseason tournament this year, similar to the one in FL last year? Season is coming up quick.

maybe it's just me, but I haven't seen much press on this in the Hartford area.

Have you seen much press about ANYTHING about the WNBA season starting? Have you seen any press about ANYTHING about the WNBA other than Britney Griner getting arrested and Isaih Thomas taking over in NY?

This has to be the most incompetent pubic relations and marketing group on the planet. Ask any of your coworkers or neighbors and see how many have any idea that the WNBA season is about to start.

I thought that's why they brought in someone with a background in marketing to be president. Guess it seemed like a good idea at the time.

the WNBA preseason is laughable. so few games and hardly any press about them. Most teams only have 2 games scheduled.

here's the entire preseason schedule:

Fri 22:
New York @ Chicago @ 7:00pm
San Antonio @ Tulsa @ 8:00pm

Sat 23:
Connecticut @ Indiana @ 5:00pm
Washington @ Atlanta @ 5:00pm

Tue 26
Phoenix @ Seattle @ 2:00pm

Wed 27
Atlanta @ New York @ 11:00am
Minnesota @ Washington @ 11:30am
Los Angeles @ Chicago @ 5:00pm
China Olympic Team @ Connecticut @ 7:00pm

Thu 28
Tulsa @ San Antonio @ 11:30am
Seattle @ Phoenix @ 3:30pm
China Olympic Team @ Chicago @ 5:00pm
Los Angeles @ Connecticut @ 7:00pm

Fri 29
Washington @ Indiana @ 12:00pm

Jun 1
New York @ Minnesota @ 8:00pm

3 games: New York, Connecticut, Washington, Chicago.
2 games: Indiana, Atlanta, Minnesota, Tulsa, San Antonio, Phoenix, Los Angeles & Seattle.

I did used to see a real colorful billboard of the Sun in Hartford. also saw commericals on tv in the morning before I went to work. I thought I saw those commercials before the season started.

once in a great while I see a little fb post.

where I work, there is just not the interest in women's basketball. cant say it was ever a real lot, but there were a handful that would always talk UConn and to a slightly lesser degree the Sun.

I'm the sole survivor here that watches anything other than Final Four and any WNBA.

I'm not even going to lash out at any group. this is a niche sport imo. people know its there. prices are reasonable. travel is about 45 min for me.

maybe the amount of money for the heavier advertising (if one chooses to call it that) wasn't being offset by the increase in revenue.

does have me missing the Abl a little and some of the huge crowds.
