I've enjoyed NBA 2K16 and it taught me a lot about the NBA. I had never followed the league before playing that game and now I actually have a passing interest in NBA players. I'm sure a WNBA 2k17 would teach a lot of players about the W.

Currently, in the career mode for NBA 2K16, you:

a) create a player
b) play a few high school games
c) pick one of nine schools to play for (Arizona, Georgetown, Kansas, Louisville, Michigan, Texas, UCLA, UConn and Villanova). Wisconsin also exists, but only as an opponent school. Play a few of those college games.
d) become a one-and-done player and get drafted
e) join career mode.

It probably defeats the purpose to have a player grind away four years in a college, even in the abbreviated mode of NBA 2K16. If I could design a WNBA 2K16, you would

a) create your player
b) get drafted
c) play your seasons,
d) go to one of six overseas leagues to play in the offseason.

Instead of playing a bunch of games before the draft they could just do what previous years did with the men and have a single All- American game and a team interview which could impact your draft spot.

Or just have the women play out an abbreviated schedule of their senior year in college.

I'm sorry, but I just had to laugh at the video. Wishful thinking and all, but come on... full stands? Filled to capacity?? Even I, as a fan can't believe that...

Adding: Write Funko. The WNBA should have Pops.

They could start smaller with a free app version, gage interest and go from there.
