Any of you folks who are fans of Mechelle may have noticed she's not been actively writing for a bit here as of late; I've found out from her that she's been on a bit of leave. Apparently, her mother is terminally ill, and she's devoting her energies to her hospice care.

If any of you may want to send along a message of concern and support, her e-mail is mvoepel123@yahoo.com. I did ask her if she minded that I put this on Reb's, and she said that was okay--she thought it was a good idea to let people know why she's been off the radar screen lately.

If you haven't already, please consider sending along your sentiments via e-mail or other social media; I know Mechelle would be most appreciative to hear from her fans. She cared for her mom for a number of years, making this even more difficult than most deaths of elderly parents.
