I hadn't noticed that Asjha was playing this season, but she apparently replaced Crystal Langhorne on Good Angels Kosice. Her current stats aren't stellar -- 9.7 pts, 5.3 rebs -- but she's only played 3 games so far, and is coming back from that Achilles injury.
Does anyone know her status with Connecticut? I imagine Thibault would like to pick her up if she's available and not too costly. Don't think Asjha was crazy about playing for Donovan.
She could shore up the front court for the Mystics and add a veteran presence.

I doubt Jones is a member of the Sun for 2015. Odds are she joins Thibault & the Mystics. Otherwise either the Sky, Shock or Sparks could use her.

I have no idea what Asjha Jones might do, so I'm just thinking out loud:
Jones presumably makes $150,000+ in Europe. She's going to be 35 in August, and has had a history of injuries.
Let's say she can get $75,000 for playing in the WNBA.
Now, that's a lot of money, and that's a pretty big bump in annual income, but at the same time it does increase the chance of injury and adds to wear and tear.
So I think the calculation has to go something like this:
1) If I play in the WNBA, I run the risk of shortening my career;
2) If I play in the WNBA, I make a lot more money now, and my career might be shortened just playing in Europe and getting hurt there;
3) How much do I enjoy playing in Europe?;
4) How much do I enjoy playing the WNBA?
5) If I play in Europe only for four more years, my total income is $600,000; if I play in Europe and the WNBA for three years, my total income is $675,000. If I play in Europe and the WNBA for two more years, my total income is $450,000.
I don't know what I'd do (I'd have to have a serious talk with my knees). What would you do?
