Serbia are in EuroBasket Women 2015, yes. As for whether any given Euro will show up for camp and leave for a couple of weeks, only show up after EBW, skip the WNBA entirely in 2015, or be willing to skip EBW entirely, we have no real idea at this stage.

Someone congratulated Milovanovic on playing for the Mystics this coming season, so I don't know if she signed or resigned but she will be playing for them I guess...

I am surprised she is returning because she seemed to fall out of favor with Thibault as the season went on. But it may have been injury related as she did not play a single game in July or the last 3 in June. But her peak minutes were May 30 (26) and June 1 (35). For the last four games she played in June and the four she played in August she averaged 7 minutes a game. And while she played in the first and last games of August, she was DNP in 3 August games.

She's gone to Seattle. Washington traded Q & 20th pick for Seattle's 15Th pick.

I'm not sure what to think about this or what is Mike up to?

...meh, he gives up next to nothing to move up 5 spots...if anyone can find a gem at 15 in this draft, it's Thibault.

My guess is that Hollingsworth wants to actually play and they already have Vaughn and Dolson and can't fully commit to Hollingsworth/what she wants.

Seattle can definitely give her playing time.

maybe he has his eye on a foreign player and is worried about her going before #20.

note that there is no Inova logo on Hartley's jersey. A Mystics wordmark is there instead.

Inova decided not to renew the deal.

Is Latoya Pringle Sanders still on the roster? If so any chance that she's coming back?

Do you all think Cierra Burdick from TN would be a good pick to play the 3 for the Mystics?

NO. Too inconsistent. But then again, who's going to be available? Despite the lack of 3 pt shot, I like Aleighsa Welch. She finds a way to get it done. Good defender. WNBA ready. Get her with the 3 pt gun. Reminds me of Mo Currie before her ACL.

I feel like the Mystics need MORE, I'm not feeling like this team is going to win much. We need more BIGS, some legit 6'4" and up players. Some toughness from other positions as well, come on Mike what are you going to do?

Well, with the Phoenix squad spending their summer at the dentist office again, we could likely beat them this year. Which they would love. Anything that helps push them up to the 2016 bonanza. And unfortunately leaves the Styx out of the lotto again.

Hey, we are coming to PLAY this year! Our replacements are no joke, ok. We got Quinn, we got Christon, we got some gal whose names starts with a freakin' X!... Yeah you heard me, we got two x-factors this season. Just one was enough for a title last year.

But back to the point. Yeah that Mystics roster needs a serious boost I think, to get from "less crappy in reality than on paper" to actually good.
But what CAN Mike do at this point?

Draft Jewell Loyd or Breanna Stewart next year, assuming the lottery machine doesn't hate the Mystics again.

I'm the last one to defend PHX, but WAS only plays two games against PHX. They're in the West and you're in the East so, even though they stole Griner from you, they can't really steal a lottery spot from you. They can probably steal one from SAN though.

Confused

Who thinks she's horrible? She's certainly not great, but is serviceable.

She played great. She made some nice shots every time that UMMC came close. But lets not pretend that Candace Parker s defense is all that great Rolling Eyes

I wouldn't have posted it if I'd never seen it said, there are ppl who think she shouldn't be in the League. Not saying where I've seen it, so no need for anyone here to feel like I'm talking about them.
