They got a good coach and they're on board with him. They've had good coaches before but maybe not the right ones for this team. Agler is more of a professional basketball coach and these players I think respond to someone just feeding pure basketball information into them around game time.

The other thing is striking is the players are playing their asses off. And I'm record for a long time with my criticism about the effort etc. So much so though that sometimes the Sparks are pretty gassed late in games. Just casual observations from someone who's only seen a few games.

beating a very hot indiana team on the road with their team leader (alana), 2nd best player (nneka) and one of their main guards (erin) was HUGE. This team is going to be something special.

Don't forget Tolo was injured and our rookie Bradford stepped up and gave us big minutes! This team can be dangerous come playoff time. I hope everyone can come back before the playoffs.

Yeah, let's scare the crap outa Los Lynx and the Merc! Twisted Evil Laughing

Ouch. Bummer for LA and Tolo. Hope surgery and recovery is successful. Wonder if she'll make it back for Rio.

no Tolo or Nneka means some PT for Hamson at least. I wonder if the Sparks will sign an injury replacement?

Will Beard or Nneka be back for the playoffs? (Sounds like Tolo will not be.)

Yes both should be back before the playoffs. I hope Nneka will be back Sunday and Beard soon after. Just speculation though. We all know those concussions can last longer than expected (Ariel Massengale)

Crying or Very sad

Poor Marianna. She was doing such a nice job.
This is a killer for the Opals too.

Wishing for a successful Tolo rehab.

Hopefully Hamson can step up and provide some defense and rebounding off the bench. It's not that big of a loss if Nneka makes a healthy return.Parker can play the center position at an elite level. The sparks won 24 games in 2013 with Parker starting at center.

I guess the Aussie national team will now kiss Cambage's ass.

The winner of the Lynx/sparks series will win the championship.

Congrats to LA playoffs bound. I believe in this team they have given me a reason to. I'm proud of this team after what they went through. I'm sure it wasn't easy starting the 0-7 but they fight to make it to the playoffs.

Let's win for Tolo

Yep!, she's staking her claim to being the very best in the world. A title would go a long way to putting her in that conversation. Wink

I got nothing AGAINST the sparks. I just don't believe they can win the ship this yr or next yr. i could be wrong, but until they win a series against lynx or merc i won't take them ship contenders. Plus they gotta win the big games consistently to consider them legit contenders. since 2012 every body been saying hey its sparks yr and they are like "no please we don't want any of it" all in all i wish them well against any body but my lynx. #peacesparksfans #WNBALOVE

LA will be playing Minny in the first round. Sparks will be looking for some payback from the 2012 playoffs.

There actually may be an advantage to getting the Lynx in the first round, as they may not be fully healthy by then.

And those who are healthy have played big minutes, and even taking some time off won't necessarily help.

I would not be surprised at all if LA made the Finals.

I guess Michele is taking over Marianna's role. We can use some height off the bench.

She's not there to replace Phillips she's there to replace Tolo which is a good thing she's 6'5 with a 7'1 wingspan she's here for defense[/quote]

so was Tolo waived to make room for Snow?? Otherwise, only the injury exemption could enable them to sign Snow if Phillips will be out for the play-offs, too.
