Those guys probably should be bowing to Howee's favorite player.
She didn't let McCoughtry turn the corner no matter how badly she wanted it.

McCoughtry still managed to somehow get off a nice looking shot. Three bounce on the rimmer.

Don't blame the refs or poor free-throw shooting. The Sky missed some free throws in this game (Tamera Young). Both teams shot an equal shooting percentage. All 3 games basically even out pointswise....EDD just wanted it more in the 2nd half of the big game.

What a great game.

It was fun to watch Atlanta implode after celebrating a victory in the 2nd quarter. I love when front runners end up losing.

And Angel Mac, my lord... will you ever grow up?

What is sad is that here in Chicago this was the 5th biggest sports story of the night on the local news, and given about 15 seconds of coverage. The Cubs and Sox are terrible and have nothing to play for, The Bears are just getting ready for a preseason game, but they were given way, way, way more coverage just now. Hopefully if they win Saturday the Chicago sports media will get on board and give them more advertisement for the Monday night game in Chicago.

I was watching the game on my DVR. There was a point towards the end of the third quarter that I was ready to give up on the Sky. I looked at the time and knew that the game should be over. So I cheated and went to the ESPN website to find out the final score. I stared at that those numbers for about four minutes. I looked and looked. I thought that ESPN had made a mistake. The team I was watching could not beat this Dream team. IMPOSSIBLE.

I looked at my TV and looked again at the final score of the game on the ESPN website. IMPOSSIBLE! There is no way the Sky were going to score thirty points in ten minutes. This team had been fumbling around for three quarters. The Dream was spanking the Sky on the butt yelling WHAT'S MY NAME! WHAT'S MY NAME! The Sky came back and won? Shocked Shocked Shocked

Pokey must have read my signature line to the team after the third quarter.
WE WILL DO WHAT WE DO EVERY NIGHT, TRY TO TAKE OVER THE MOTHERF**KING WORLD! Laughing Laughing Laughing Laughing

WOW! I just checked back on the final score of the (yawn) Atlanta victory, having turned it off in the third quarter. Kicking myself now. I could watch it, but it's never the same as seeing it live.

I turned the game off in the third quarter, saw the final score an hour later, and then had to watch the fourth quarter to see how this miracle happened.

EDD is magical.

Game 1 isn't until Saturday, which gives EDD & the Sky three days rest.

...and yet the league still doesn't have the ECF schedule posted.

Sky just reported on their website that the Monday game in Chicago has been moved up to 3:10 p.m. CT....earlier it was said to be 6:10 CT. Does the 3 p.m. start mean ESPN2 now wants to show the Delle Donne machine?

The thing is, we all thought Chicago would be pretty good when everybody got healthy. For me though it seemed like they didn't have enough time to totally get it together. That they could win this game without Breland (any word on if she will be available for Indy?) and with Prince and Quigley both totally unable to hit a basket, and with Syl totally being outplayed by Erika....I mean that is the shocking part. Kudos to T. Young, even though she can't make a free throw, she was still huge. And EDD the lionhearted was simply amazing. I see her moving out there like a slow moving freight train and think 'this girl can't possibly get it done' but omg does she ever get it done. Truly amazing.

No, but maybe NBA TV does.

Looks like ESPN has a Tigers/Indians game and NBATV has FIBA World Cup Brazil v. Spain.

All you guys who wanted a losing team in the finals are going to get your wish.

All we needed to do was hit free throws down the stretch to win the game.
