In basketball, the salary cap for the entire WNBA team doesn’t reach $1 million. Yet, for the men’s league, the cap is over $58 million.

So if my math skills are adequate, theoretically if the men played a 34 game season we would be looking at an approximately $24 million salary cap

I kinda thought it was offensive. I didn't like how they stereotyped black women, and I really disliked how they had Cecily Strong do that masculine voice.

Sports Illustrated 50 most fittest female athletes. Features SIX WNBA stars. Better than 10% of the whole, not too shabby.

Nope I first saw it at work. And I wasn't on break soooooo Embarassed ... I kinda rushed thru it. And I thought the article said five. I guess I got it completely...wait it wasn't my fault. I first read about the photos on Tulsa Shock's FB feed. They said it was FOUR WNBA players besides Skylar Diggins. So I just repeated what they wrote along with apparently not going through all the pictures. The one I originally missed was Tina Charles by the way.

I feel like they picked some of these out of a hat. I'm not saying she's not fit, but out of all the WNBA players, why Dupree? I understand Diggins because being a fitness model and training is kind of her deal. Maya and Parker maybe because of they are more well known. Charles too was a little bit of a head scratcher for me.

...And on-and-off for the past 14 years, Sacramento Kings Dunkers captain Alain Anderson has professionally dunked for the NBA. Basketball fans all over the country have seen his moves --- Anderson's resume includes stints with the Golden State Warriors, the San Antonio Spurs, the Los Angeles Clippers and even the Sacramento Monarchs circa 2008.

From the Field of Schemes blog:
http://www.fieldofschemes.com/2015/01/09/8332/hawks-for-sale-winning-bidder-must-buy-arena-too-nba-says-theyre-not-moving-anyway-so-there/

Anyway, the interesting bit here is: Does including the arena in the deal make it less likely that a new owner could try to move the Hawks? (The NBA actually released a pretty strong statement on Wednesday that the team isn’t going anywhere, but it’s a sports league’s prerogative to change its mind.) After all, if Hansen, let’s say, were to buy the team and move it to Seattle, he’d have to pay a premium to get the arena as well, then would have to figure out what to do with it with no sports team to play in it. (I guess it would still have the Dream, which is separately owned by two women who share the same hair.)

"two women who share the same hair" links to this:

ikoloz Tskitishvili (No. 5, 2002)
Another European big man that fooled NBA executives into thinking he was the next Dirk Nowitzki, Tskitishvili averaged a measly 2.9 PPG over six NBA seasons.

After fizzling out in the league, Tskitishvili headed back to Europe. At the end of 2014, he was playing in Lebanon

Hmmm...the one I saw with #5 at the top was the one of Shelden Williams and they remarked his biggest contribution to the sport was his wife Candace Parker of the WNBA. Oh I see, #5 was his draft position. You'll just have to scroll through to Shelden.
