will be retiring today just as the Knicks expected when they waived JYD instead. They will now save approx. 60 million dollars. They are also close to getting Curry's 60 million dollar contract insured...something the Bulls swore they couldn't do and had to trade him. Isiah is no Blaze.

THANK GODDESS!!!! Free at last, free at last, free from that (&*^%^^$ing contract AT LAST!!!

Not that I have anything against H20. One of the two sports calls I have memorized is "Houston pops out up top... down the lane, running jumper... off the front rim AND IN!" Even if I keep wanting to end it with "and the Liberty win game 2". He's better off this way.

Alan is a class act, but his disappearing acts during crucial moments were really unnerving (save for that layup against the Heat). I'm warming up to this Knicks team, which cannot be good. Anyways, I hope he enjoys retirement. He was a fun player to watch, with a sweet jumpshot. Best of luck to him.

He was definitely a class act. I loved cheering for him when he was a late-90s New York Knick (though the rest of the team minus Ewing and Sprewell kinda reeked) I feel that more young players should strive to have a jump shot as silky as his, but they all want to jump out of the gym rather than work on their stroke. Confused
