New York Liberty fans going to the June 22, 2014 game might be surprised the visiting team will be different from what the schedules says and what the ad says.

The ad:


Liberty's schedule:
Quote:
Sun 22, vs. Atlanta
Madison Square Garden, New York, NY
3:00pm MSG LiveAccess


Storm's schedule:
Quote:
Sun 22, vs. Washington
6:00pm KONG LiveAccess NBATV



And some of us wonder why the WNBA is not considered as a "major sports league".

Even assuming you're right, an intern should be able to read the team's schedule correctly. And the intern's boss should be looking at promotional material before it is sent out or posted. What happened here is really bush league.

At the Dream game today, they showed on the jumbotron that the next home game is July 29th against Seattle. I found this interesting since I was planning to show up at Philips Arena this Friday and I was kind of expecting that the Dream would be playing the Liberty that night.

Maybe the Liberty shipped that same intern to Atlanta, and/or maybe there is just something about those three teams that everyone gets them mixed up...Smile
