Went to my local Blockbuster Video store before it closed down this past weekend. Not very many titles to select from, but I noticed a DVD of a girls' basketball movie called "The Winning Season", a 2009 movie that stars Sam Rockwell and Rooney Mara.

Haven't put it in the DVD player yet. Considering that I bought it for only 99 cents, I'm not expecting much.

Has anyone else seen it?

It was okay but not great. And I didn't really think it was much of a comedy. There was more drama there than laughs.
