The fact that the Pac has 4 of the top 7 seeds shows you how ridiculously powerful the Pac is at volleyball. If only we can do this in basketball now...

Yes. Despite Ohio State losing just now, the Big Ten has had a great tournament. Michigan State plays UCLA tonight!

Stanford Sweeps.

Michigan State stuns UCLA at home in 4. Michigan State will now go to Berkley to, ironically, play Michigan in the Sweet Sixteen. Stanford will play Iowa State.

4 Big10 , 3 PAC-12 and Texas . Cinderella doesn't hang around too long in volleyball, does she ? Maybe Michigan would qualify since they were unseeded .
Looking forward to watching the matches on ESPNU today, and hoping for at least one good 5 set match .

Cinderella goes to the Final Four!

From mgoblue.com notes:

• The Wolverines are one of two Big Ten teams in the national semifinal, joining Penn State.

• U-M has defeated Stanford three straight times, winning the regional semifinal in 2009, the second round in 2011 and the regional final in 2012.

• Michigan is the only unseeded team remaining in the NCAA Tournament.

• The Wolverines improve to 18-12 all-time in NCAA Tournament play.

I wish that match hadn't been so late . I didn't get to see any of it . I'll be pulling for Michigan and Oregon Thursday, but Texas & Penn State look awfully good .

Go Wolverines!

Concordia-St. Paul (MN) won their record-tying 6th consecutive national title over Tampa 3-2 last night in the Division II final.

Another school from St. Paul won the Division III title earlier this year, St. Thomas won their first volleyball title.

I'm rooting for the two underdogs! Wouldn't mind if Texas won, though. Anyone but Penn State.

Looks like Cinderella found her glass slipper. Now all she needs to do is put it on and run.

Michigan after getting BLOWN OUT in the first set, now leads 2 sets to 1.
