As the games end, I still wonder if its our tv, old ears or whatever but NBC coverage on the audio side has been terrible IMO. Seems like the commentators are sittting in the crowds or whatever. Cant understand half of what they say. This was the same thing with the interesting story
about England and WWII. the backround music was so overbearing you
couldnt hear the storyline. Anyone else have this problem?

Yeah, during one of the women's soccer games I could barely hear what Brandi Chastain was saying at one point because the crowd noise was so loud...even though her commentary is basically restating the obvious.
