how many parker bashers have been here?

You're right. There haven't been any...any at all. We didn't have a 300-post game topic where her biggest critic (Clay Kallam) continues to tell us that she doesn't defend and never has. We don't have posts telling us that Parker shouldn't dribble the ball up the court because they'd rather see Sue initiate the break (and pad her assists numbers). We don't have people yelling about Parker's shot selection even though she's been a 35% 3-point shooter in the WNBA this season.

Nope, I must be making all of that up. You're right. Rolling Eyes

Be happy, for goodness' sake. The US national team just dominated the world.

Craig Sager asked if they felt sorry for Australia for never winning the gold and she simply said "I don't feel sorry for anyone"...Right on Dee Laughing

Rolling Eyes How typical. Anyone who doesn't agree with the esteemed message board scholar norwester has issues with reading comprehension. Funny how that works.

Since your reading comprehension skills are soooo advanced, why do you waste your time on here amongst those who clearly don't match up? Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes

This shit has gotten old--yet you continue to do it.

Cute interview with Bird, Taurasi and Catchings. Also liked how when asked about playing with and getting along with UConn players Catchings said we've all gotta grow up sometime! Laughing a lot of people could take that advice. Wink Twisted Evil

I'm not sold on Dumerc's talent translating to the WNBA. Woeful upper body strength, unable to shoot even foul shots without heaving them off her shoulder.

Dont remember if she said i or we. Doesnt really matter because Sues face already said enough about that

Ha! I totally get Sue's reaction in that Diana said it out loud in quite that manner -- especially specific to Australia.

But IMO if you feel any different while on the court you don't need to be out there - gotta have the killer instinct to win championships and medals...I've seen a number of teams with the talent come up short w/out it.

I don't see Catchings returning(she'll be 37), Bird I'd say will be 50/50(she'll be 35) and Taurasi will be there unless injured. If no Bird, Whalen would start and I could see Prahalis or Danielle Robinson(or both) as the back-up(s).

We're all wondering the same thing down here and it's a 40-minute flight!
Congrats to Team USA on its unprecedented success.

35 year old Bird is 50/50, but 34 year old Whalen is a sure thing Confused
