Just FYI, if you're using the assumption that USA wins gold, neither Australia nor China can win Silver.

based on how the quarterfinals are set-up, it seems as though the semis will be USA vs. Australia & France vs. Russia. I give the edge to Russia to up their game come the semi-finals and take out France. Australia will lose to France in the bronze medal game.

FINAL PLACEMENT PREDICTION
GOLD: USA
SILVER: Russia
BRONZE: France
4th: Australia
5th: Turkey
6th: China
7th: Czech Republic
8th: Canada
9th: Brazil
10th: Croatia
11th: Great Britian
12th: Angola

Russia's offense has sucked all Tournament long (as evidenced by their final-quarterfinals-low scoring average), and they have nothing in the paint to contend with Turkey's bigs, let alone France's. I don't see them making the Semis, nor getting by France if they do.

Jep i agree. I thiNK Russia will not get past Turkey in the quarter finals. My guess is that France will get Silver and hopefully Australia will get Bronze
