I wish that Peck would have paid clower attention to the game. The coach said to foul, get a stop... Canada did foul. They were then going for the stop on Hammon... That's why Thornburgh didn't foul.

It's Carolyn Peck. Switching from WNBA to Olympic basketball doesn't switch off her being a moron.

Osipova? Should she be allowed more than four steps?

watch her pivot foot on the stepthrough move

I've watched the replay a half-dozen times, and it came well off the ground on each occasion. Five steps on that play; she must think she's LeBron James...

Canada's last basket was a Pilypaitis three at the 6:33 mark that made it 50-40. Russia finished 18-3 over the final 4:30...

Group B really is up in the air. I think Australia will still win the group, but after that, who knows. Russia, Brazil & France all have the weaknesses.

Big cheer from the crowd for Angola's first bucket after a 13-0 Turk run to start the game.

I'm watching the NBC livestream in the US, which seems to have some similarities in production quality to WNBA LiveAccess. I'm starting to wonder if NBC has changed its name to National Buffering Channel. Too bad, because Angola has made this something of a game, down by 10 at the half.

The NBC Olympic site's streams are powered by Youtube, with a few minor changes. And too many commercials. Dang, I would pay for that service if they would just cut out the commercials every time. The 1080p is really nice, though.

Brazil leads France, 25-21 in the second quarter. Good game so far.

Back and forth game. Brazil's playing better, but whenever the reserve guards come in, France goes on a run. Game tied, 34-34 at the half.

France leads 52-49 after 3. Not a good 3rd quarter. Awful shooting and not really a fan of this 3-2 zone. Clarissa has been great on D. If her offensive game ever catches up, she's gonna be very good.

Brazil really went away from attacking the basket, and getting the ball into De Souza. They aren't going to win any games like that.

Talk about a horror start for GB! Sad
An Opals 3 point play and a Collins injury within the first 7 seconds
