It's not a man's world anymore, not at this event. The prominence of women is one reason I like covering the Olympics. You get to cover a greater depth of sports and people. The women tend to be more quotable, more appreciative of the attention. You get the feeling most of them actually took the notion of "student-athlete" seriously when they were on college scholarships.
