photo editing program? I am using a starter version of Adobe Photoshop. Any suggestions?

yeah. don't be frustrated if you can't figure out everything all at once. i know professional photogs who've used photoshop for years, and many of them say they've only scratched the surface of what it can do but don't have time to learn all of it.

i'd repeat a long-ago recommendation by jammer, which is to go to lynda.com and see if there are any freebie lessons in photoshop. the lessons are movies played in quicktime, at your own pace, and they're really, really good. like jammer, i explored the lessons on dreamweaver - steepish learning curve - and they made it seem so easy. wish i'd done that a long time ago.

i'm just starting with Google Picasa. I'm not sure if it's what you're looking for, but it's free, and my techie friends tell me it's the best.
