The ones and twos, maybe, except Tennessee right now isn't a number two.
Minnesota and Maryland at 3 seeds? Virginia Tech, Iowa and BC as 4 seeds? UConn, Georgia and KSU are 5 seeds? LA Tech is a 5??? Texas a 7 seed. I don't care how many losses, I can't think of 24 other teams better than Texas right now.
Check out the 8s too: UVa, ASU, Purdue and UCLA. That's a pretty strong group at 8.
Well, I guess it all shows how early it is.
What's the latest on Parker anyway?

It's way too early for a good bracket prediction. ESPN should actually do some coverage on what's happening NOW (and show more WCBB games on ESPN Pacific Rim!) |

Since Palm has his Gory Details page up, I can do this...
Bracket #1
1 Duke
2 Baylor
3 Minnesota
4 Arizona State
5 UConn
6 USC
7 DePaul
8 Houston
9 Wisconsin-GB
10 New Mexico
11 Creighton
12 Weber State
13 Chattanooga
14 Bowling Green
15 North Texas
16 Hampton
Bracket #2
1 LSU
2 Notre Dame
3 Iowa
4 Florida State
5 Virginia Tech
6 Kansas State
7 Arizona
8 Purdue
9 Temple
10 Florida
11 Georgia Tech
12 Delaware
13 Liberty
14 Lipscomb
15 Western Illinois
16 Robert Morris
Bracket #3
1 Ohio State
2 Stanford
3 Texas Tech
4 Boston College
5 North Carolina
6 Maryland
7 Penn State
8 TCU
9 Louisiana Tech
10 Utah
11 Vanderbilt
12 Oregon
13 Tennessee Tech
14 Niagra
15 Lehigh
16 Vermont
Bracket #4
1 Michigan State
2 Tennessee
3 Rutgers
4 Richmond
5 Georgia
6 Iowa State
7 UCLA
8 Texas
9 Virginia
10 NC State
11 Gonzaga
12 SMU
13 Texas Arlington
14 Long Beach State
15 Alcorn State
16 Columbia
If I've done this right, no teams from the same conference can meet before the regional final. To make that work, Oregon and SMU were dropped one seed while Vanderbilt and Georgia Tech got bumped up one seed. I added Conference RPI as a factor. Georgia Tech got in over Oklahoma, Tulsa, and Charlotte because the ACC is #1 in CRPI. TAMUCC was a #11 seed without CRPI consideration. Richmond is a #4 either way. It seems to make much less difference at the top.
Just missed: Oklahoma, Tulsa, Charlotte, Alabama
Conferences with multiple bids
ACC 8
B10 6
P10 6
B12 5
SEC 5
BEast 4
CUSA 3
A10 2
MWC 2
WAC 2

I can already see my prediction brackets going into the toilet...but what an exciting tournament it is going to be this year. Notre Dame and Ohio State are two teams that are continuing to amaze me during the regular season.
Is it March yet???

She will be evaluated this weekend, or at the beginning of next week. If she can get through consecutive practices without any major swelling, they will build up to a full practice. If her knee doesn't swell after a full practice, then she will most likely be cleared to play. If her knee continues to swell after practices, and this continues into February, then the possibility of playing this season will be stopped and she will take a redshirt.
