More interestingly, and possibly more importantly, how does Disney feel about an ABC show mocking something that they run on ESPN?

Cheap laughs. It's basically lazy writing. Nothing deep or clever about it, just playing on general assumptions and going for the low hanging fruit. |
Pretty much. I'd bet that these writers haven't seen any of the W. I can't see anyone spouting these jokes with a straight face after seeing some of the greats play, like Leslie or Swoopes, or more recently Moore and Delle Donne. Even if they didn't like it though, there's no reason to disrespect these female athletes. Just tasteless all around. I never liked Black-ish anyways and this just gives me another reason not to.

Since WNBA games are worse than hell, does that mean that, amongst others WNBA players, Maya Moore & Elena Delle Donne are the most evil human beings in the history of the universe for participating in something worse than Satan? I'm surprised religious organizations weren't protesting the Lynx during the WNBA Finals for their acts of pure evil, or fans like me for attending a Satanic event.
Disclaimer: I said this to intentionally sound like a complete moron, like the show.

I was watching this last week and when Coach White came on I literally stood up and cheered.
It takes some chutzpah to appear in a pro choice skit when you work in a State like Indiana, but apparently nobody there noticed lol I really would like to know how Stephanie came to do the skit!

On an episode of the new season of "The Unbreakable Kimmie Schmidt," Carol Kane's Lillian alludes to her friend fixing a game between the Indiana Fever and the New York Liberty.

This is actually from January 7th, 2016, but I didn't know about this until just now.
From The Deseret News in Salt Lake City, Utah...

ARE THE JAZZ IN THE WNBA?
Just about everything went right for the San Antonio Spurs Wednesday night in their 123-98 drubbing of the Utah Jazz at home.
At least one thing was not aligned at the AT&T Center, however, as seen in a photo from Jazz radio voice David Locke, which showed that the score sheet given to the media said the game was a WNBA contest.
The arena is also home to the San Antonio Stars of the WNBA. In a random bit of coincidence, the Stars ended up in San Antonio after moving from Utah, where they were known as the Utah Starzz. |

Didn't hear the context but Steve Smith calling the GSW vs Portland playoff game mentioned the Portland Fire. |

During the NBA finals tonight, the commentators talked about the WNBA for about a minute or two. The struggles of Phoenix were mentioned, as were the old school Liberty, and the fact that Parker wasn't on the Olympic team. |
