2005-06 University of Connecticut Men's Basketball Schedule Announced
By a UConn Athletic Department Media Release: Sep. 8, 2005
STORRS, Conn. (Sept. 8, 2005)-- The University of Connecticut announced its 2005-06 Men’s Basketball schedule Thursday, a challenging 29-game regular season slate that is one of the toughest in Hall of Fame Head Coach Jim Calhoun’s 20-year tenure with the Huskies.

The Basketball Hall of Fame Class of 2005

It seems only fitting that the brand new University of Connecticut Men’s Basketball Exhibit, which primarily features freshly inducted Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame UConn Men’s Coach Jim Calhoun, is immediately next to that of UCLA and it’s famous Head Coach John Wooden and across from that of the school of his friend and fellow Class of 2005 inductee, Jim Boeheim, the Head Coach of Syracuse University.
