If I haven't made it clear, I think EDD is a great player and is probably better off as a stretch four than a three because I think she'll have trouble defending quicker small forwards.

But even if she gives up some points defensively at the three, she'll make up for it at the other end.

I don't think she can play the five or two defensively, but you could probably get away with it for a possession or two.

EDD would be a great fit in Chicago. Fowles would protect her from having to guard the 'big' inside and Swin gives additional rebounding. I see this as the optimal kind of position for her - to play alongside a dominant big big and a SF who rebounds and hustles. On the offensive side she gives them the third scorer they desperately need. And the big bonus: get Young out of the starting lineup!
