i'd like to see ruthie go out with some dignity - retire when there is no question that how she walked away was her own choice.
sacto's such a heart-tugger, a true old school team that nearly everyone roots for, if secretly. i'd like to see mr. whizzard keep ticha (and ticha finish with the team that was hers), yo, demya, lawson and brunson, and let the rest of the cards fall where they may. i'm torn over my girls tangela and edna, but sacto always comes up short of the mark and sacrifices must be made to freshen up the roster.
maybe part of my preseason pall is knowing that this year, more than ever, i'm gonna see some of my favorite icons in uniforms they've got no business wearing. i know it's all part of the game, but ticha being anything but a monarch (as just one possibility) - why, that's heresy! guess i haven't made peace with the concept since spoon went over to the dark side . . .

dag, slovy, where's the love for ticha? i mean, if you're gonna go there with that fanta . . . um . . . wish for sacto. i'd love for yo to get her ring, with ticha and ruthie. but if they come up short again, i'm afraid ruthie's gonna wish she'd bowed out when she still had some numbers (and i'm being kind in that regard).

I never really cared for Ticha. I've always seen the Monarchs as Yo and Ruthie's team.
I would have cored Tangela instead of Ticha.
