an even match so far with both sides having scoring opportunities. currently no score at halftime.

First half was sloppy but next half was much better. Korea's got some good looks but Solo was on top of things and their coordination seemed off.

LeP whatever left back should not be there. She's supposed to be a CB but i think we have too many of those. :/ Cheney started tracking back on defense in the second which definitely helped. Also, perhaps we should keep Abby wide and let Cheney do her thing in the middle.

We could probably have someone more suited to the spot, but it's much more Cheney's fault than LePeilbet's. We put in a left midfielder who plays almost entirely attacking center, exposing our left back completely. (So to be really fair, it's Pia's fault, not any one player's.)

She's doing a little better at covering the flank today but only somewhat. It's a good thing Colombia hasn't noticed yet.

Cheney should've been put on for Amy Rodriguez, leaving Rapinoe in as an actual winger who can run fast and cover the left and replacing our weakest spot up front. A-Rod is good for her WPS club and bad on her national team. It happens; look at half the english men's team.
