Does that mean Bethany Donaphin will play in Chicago?? Smile She can't POSSIBLY be one of the 'protected ones'. Say it ain't so!! LOL!!

Good for the league. I think Chicago is a GREAT market....All the major markets should have a team...then again, life isn't perfect.

I think the best news here is that they have put private ownership together to get this deal done. While I am grateful for the NBA owner's backing during infancy, some of them have proven that they are not in this for the long haul.

Private owners will hopefully be more creative in their approach to this business...not afraid to do some things different as far as we fans are concerned. They will realize it is the fans that drive the business, not the business of being a team owner that drives it to success.

Great day for women's basketball, indeed.
