Gas in West Lafayette is $3.19 / gallon for regular unleaded, up from $2.59 the day before. Shocked

Here in Atlanta, they're already rationing the gas. Each car can only get 10 gallons of gas. THIS IS RIDICULOUS!

It's like 1979 all over again.

GWB = Jimmy Carter, and not in a good way

thank God the local transit in Cleveland hasn't increased rider fees. The cost for a gallon of gas now exceeds the cost of a single day roundtrip bus fare for me. That's just foul.

devil's advocate says: it's still cheaper than a gallon of milk. or water, in many cases.

Bristol, Tennessee...

$2.55 when I fueled up Monday, $3.19 and $3 at the two places I passed coming in from work today.

The first one I pass going in was out this morning, but was the one at three bucks even and four cars in it less than three hours ago.

Thankfully, I was smart. I got my gas on Monday afternoon...so the needle is still in the little blue box. Smile

I filled up on Sunday @ Costco, about $2.50-something (for the lower octane)
Prices in Indy are starting to climb, but not too rapidly so far...

It's a good thing I live only four miles from work - and only two miles from Conseco Fieldhouse.

Come to think of it, I should be riding my bike to work!

Do you have your pimped out, pink jogging suit, with a large gold chain of the word, "Slovy?" If so, I will pay to see that on a bike. Smile

You may live in Indy, Slovy, but you are always a member of the Brigade!

Interesting... The SF Bay Area is usually near the top of the list when it comes to gas prices, but I only pay ~$2.84 for the 91 Octane. Shocked Of course, my SUV gets ~16 mpg and my commute length is ~27 miles each way, plus the Golden Gate Bridge toll, which is $5.. Luckily I drive the carpool though, so it's divided by 4 Idea

I'm afraid $3 a gallon is just the beginning:
