It doesn't look good for me. Both Indy and PHX are on the road on most weekends.

Some conflicting info too... SEA@SAC on Aug. 20 is at 1pm PST on the SEA and WNBA schedule, but at midnight on the SAC schedule Razz

6 Seattle TV games is certainly nice... But only 1 trip to Sacramento Confused Tipping off the season with a LA@SEA should be pretty funny too... LJ can get her ring in front of Lisa, lol.

That "all times are local" is bullshit!! It should read "these times are WRONG"!!

The Libs play 17 games at midnight or 12:30AM...LOL!!!

Only 14 nationally televised games this season...is that down from the previous years?

Also, a note about what happens to teams who get their rings before playing the LA Sparks...

I was at the Home Opener for the Houston Comets in 2001, when they received their Rings for the 2000 Championship...Cooper was even there and the place was alive with excitement and pride for our team.

Back in the opponent's dressing room, I bet ole MCoop had a big screen TV set up so the Sparks could get a really good look at what being the Champion is all about...getting the bling and the banner in the rafters.

Anyone remember who won the WNBA Championship in 2001? Yep, those same LA Sparks. It won't take a lot to motivate that group this year as it is...I am glad it is on TV, because it will be a very, very good game to watch afterward.

I wish some of those were back to back home games. (for Indy)

I'm not liking this schedule much. Sac has it good again though.

National TV games per team in 2005:

    SEA-6
    LA-5
    PHO-5
    CON-5
    NY-5
    DET-4
    SAC-3
    HOU-2
    MINN-2
    WAS-2
    CHA-1
    IND-1
    SASS-1

Well there's always the All Euphemism Network called Oxygen to pick up some games... Hopefully they'll have a W Season Pass too. Local TV games aren't listed yet. Confused

And you would think that CONN would have more home games near the ASG to drum up fan interest, but I guess the arena is going to be sold out anyways. Neutral

CT goes to Phoenix end of June. There goes that vacation plan. Dani will still be in school.

Ditch the kid and come out for the game. That one's on my list of games that I can make it to.

Dani is still in school at the end of June? Shocked I'm graduating the second week of June (that is if there isn't a blizzard between now & then).

The Phoenix Mercury play 11 of their first 17 on the road. However, they have two nice home stretches in July & August. In July, they're home from July 6 to July 21...including breaks of 7, 2, and 6 days between their four games. In August, they're home from the 1st to the 16th.

I'll be making a trip out to Phoenix in August...I can't wait Smile .

I hate to break up everyone's fantasy of drunken schedulers, but I suspect that those games don't actually have times yet. Or they're noon games. Okay, that last one not so likely.

The times for Phoenix seem as if they weren't done by an alcohol/drug influenced individual. The times are actually sane.

Giving the schedule a quick glance, it appears that all of PHX away games are at noon or 12:30.

Could it be the league is using Diana to increase attendance for day games and kid camps?

PHX starts with many road games, yet few back to backs and no prolonged road stretch...did the circus move to Glendale?

Visitors to PHX: July and August could be good bets.

dtsnms, the kid can miss some school...make it a long weekend, or stay a week and bookend it with a road trip to LA, flying back before the Fourth.

Travelling is educational...school counts only in the earliest formative years, and h.s. and college...heck my best memories at that age were riding a Schwinn Sting Ray, kick-back, two-speed bike with a banana seat. If BXM bikes had arrived just a year or two earlier, Mt Dew or someone similar might be paying my bills.

Goodie, I'll have time to work on a few surprises with the babies. I already know what I'm going to do with the LL and Lo-Jack babies. I finished the model for the court. I got two, a playground and a alley. I still got to do an arena, that's a lttle more detailed

After refreshing the link, the game times have changed...so disregard any previous speculation.

Keegan has some decent choices of music...gotta love Alicia Keys, and Amy Lee (sp?) of Evanescense has an unbelievable voice.

The "Anywhere but Home" CD by Evanescence is great.

I just noticed something. The Connecticut Sun have to play Los Angeles, Seattle, Sacramento, and Phoenix all on the road in a span of 6 days. Damn.

Hey Lib fans, thanks for your comments in my trip thread.

NOW...what would be my chances of going up to the ticket window day of game and getting in to see the Sparks@Liberty, Wednesday, Aug. 10th? Can I still get courtside seats day-of? Gotta get a good photo of Lisa (or her elbows) so I can post it and torture her critics on the other board. Laughing
