I'm sure you're partial to the Dolly version. As I am to the Whitney version. In fact, I don't think I'll ever accept any other version of that song than Whitney's. There was a part of me that wasn't even that impressed with this girl's version

I guess it's a matter of taste, she's only done that song a hundred frigg'n times. What I like about it, is every syllable counts, she doesn't waste a single note. Maybe she don't do the histrionics at the obvious point of the song, but what she does do, sings every note. That is why I said what I said, and I aim't backing away from it. |

That is a great cover, and thanks to you I know who Boyce avenue is. Wow, did you see those tour dates. Definitely an act worth seeing live.
Mean is a country song, and this cover doesn't include a banjo, but that's what's great about the cover, it's country, it sounds country and because it's Taylor Swift, folks don't hold their nose when they hear it. |

Although "Temporary Home" is a beautiful song, I really think "Blown Away" is the best song Carrie has put out. I haven't gotten her album yet, but I really like "Good Girl" too.
Funny enough, although I like Underwood, she's not even close to my favorite Idol contestant. In fact, she's third or fourth of my favorite Country contestant from that show. (Behind Lauren, Scotty, Kellie Pickler...and perhaps Skylar Laine) Although none of them can touch Carrie's voice.
Skylar..she spent the whole season reminding me of Reba. And then she performed with her..cracked me up. They look like mother and daughter.
