Tina's a pretty easy pick..
Too bad Dee's team went 0-2, she would have been an easy one as well..but I think Agustus is another pretty obvious choice.

From the stats, I would say Whalen's had a more productive week than Augustus. I would pick Whalen for the West, but wouldn't mind it going to Taurasi. I'm of the mind that team record is important in deciding between players with similar individual stats--but when someone averages 30+ points it's likely they will get recognized.
As for the East... 25 pts 15 rebounds? Anybody else winning it would be ridiculous.

I would pick Tina and Whalen over Augustus, but points tend to be more of a wow factor.

Charles and, well, I dunno. They'll probably give it to whichever Lynx is nominated, but both those wins were over Tulsa, who are getting worse. Not much competition though.
Man the West sucks.

Definitely Tina Charles in the East.
In the West, however...
Augustus would probably be picked over Whalen, but I think Whalen has been more impressive.
However... Dee lost twice in two really close games (by a combined five points), and averaged 31.5 points, 6.5 rebounds, and 5 assists? I can't pick against her here. Those numbers are phenomenal. The Merc weren't blown out in either game, and could have won either one. If anybody not named Taurasi wins the West, that would be mind-blowing. I don't care if the Merc went 0-2.
So, Charles and Taurasi.

Yea. Even if you count every assist as three points, Whalen would not be tied with Taurasi. Dee's numbers are eye-popping. You don't normally give it to a player that went 0-fer in the win column, but there must be exceptions.
