Who knows but considering I'm cheering for Detroit to win (I feel so dirty saying that), I demand that she stop.

Wow, doesn't she though! She's almost as pissy looking as Bill is when he's mad at the kids Laughing

Nothing could make me ever cheer for the Shock....unless they needed to win for the Liberty to progress....and that is not happening...

Normally I'd be wanting the Lynx to lose, seeing as we're fighting with them for a playoff spot, but stuff that - this is Detroit we're talking about.
Phoenix are just going to have to make the playoffs on their own merit.
The Lynx seem to be a completely different team since Katie left... it's pretty strange.

Kill Bill!

It will be interesting to see what Bill cooks up to counter Suzie's Zone. These teams really know each other well. It seems like we (the Lynx) play the Shock twice every exibition season. They are as known to each other as conference rivals. You just know there will be some counter punching by the coaches in the second half. Nolan's third foul was big.

Btw, Riley's shooting is to counter the Lynx zone.

I have an observation after watching this game so far. When Harrower is in, Minnesota's sets run smoothly for the most part. When shes out, its a circus. Kristi is a key player in the Lynx lineup.

I've noticed the same thing in other games, though I've had to go with radio on this one.

That explains why the Lynx are near the bottom of the league in nearly every offensive category.

Dammit, Svet! Make your free throws... and stop passing it to Nolan.
Sounds like they have blown this one

No, there are plenty of other reasons for that.

70-66 Shock with 0:33 left. Without Hayden or Ohlde it's really no wonder the Lynx have been outrebounded, but those turnovers... unfortunate in the extreme.

Minnesota FT% tonight: 65%. Minnesota FT%, season: 73% (many of them by Katie). Yep, they blew it...

they aren't, really. They're not good, but they're not near the bottom in every category. They're #9 in offensive efficiency, and #6 in effective field goal %. There's just really bad at turnovers (only Detroit is worse).
