64-63 Duke with about 2 minutes remaining.

Major FG droughts for both teams. And yes, Maryland is actually playing defense.

I'm all for Dara Taylor taking the ball out. She doesn't seem to know how to count to 5. Very Happy

65-62 Duke with 1:15 remaining. Terp ball.

And asked why haha.

Thomas missed both FTs!

Then Thomas misses a jumper and a Duke foul. Duke still up 3

Escape doesn't even begin to describe that final sequence. Evil or Very Mad I'm still shaking my head at Joy for that last brain fart.

On a serious note, I think Jas Thomas and 'Netta Kizer will be the favorites for ACC Player of the Year next season. They can play a little bit.

Okay, I have to bring this up. So far, Maryland has looked miles better than the rest of the ACC bubble teams in this tourney. Can anyone argue on their behalf to make the NCAAs?

Isn't that one of the signs of the Apocalypse?

Seriously, the ACC tournament has been, at least, entertaining so far, and that's just from watching the Gametracker most of the time.

Laughing Laughing Laughing Laughing Laughing Laughing Laughing

I don't even want to think about how many titles they'd have if they had players who played tough defense like these freshmen. Even Bjork tries to play D. Shocked

BC 67 Florida State 60

Well, that's a bit of an upset. It looks like BC led most of the game, although the lead did change hands a few times.

Not good news for the Seminoles' seeding.

One more upset to report: NC State 66, UVA 59. Wright with 32 points, but State had four players in double figures.

Theoretically, it should be easier for Duke to capture its first ACC Tournament title since 2004 with the #2 and #3 seeds gone. Realistically, I have strong doubts. Whomever emerges from that other bracket will be chomping at the bit to knock off Duke, and they are better-coached than Duke. Of course, Duke would have to put GT away first--and that's no easy task. They want a signature win.

Horrific PG play for Georgia Tech and decent shooting for Duke = ACC Tournament Finals for the third straight season!!! Now, can McCallie actually win one of these?

Great comeback by NC State...Down 10 come back and win.

Terrible decision by Crawley to leave the zone and go man. NC State tore through the man.

Gartrell with 25 and 9, one missed foul shot by State all game.

Way to go Kellie Harper! Take that critics!!!
