Every team hits a lull during its season, a time where, win or lose, it feels as if it's merely going through the paces.

The Connecticut Sun have hit that point, and it isn't exactly an ideal time for it happen.

The Sun also struggled mightily in two games against the last place Charlotte Sting. They won the first of those two games last Tuesday, 64-55, but only after closing the game with a 17-2 run.

Things weren't much better in Friday's meeting. The Sun were so sluggish that Thibault sat some starters and gave little-used reserves, such as Jamie Carey and Laura Summerton, a chance to play and spark the team. Connecticut used a second-half run to win 73-63.

Prior to the all-star break, the Sun led the New York Liberty by seven points with five minutes to play, but came unraveled and lost.
