I agree. I think there should be a 14 player roster limit until a certain date.

And then cut down to 11.

Also, are we waiting until the end of the season to do these initial signings?

I agree that a 14 player roster sounds better..

Hi,

I'm pretty new as a member but have been lurking for a while. If no one else steps up I would be willing to give it a shot. This game sounds like fun. I would also be willing to let Icey23 have Chicago, and I'd take over Indiana. No hard feeling if you'd prefer someone with more Rebkell's experience. J-spoon

WOO HOO!!! New people!! yay for new people!

on a serious note, i dont think theyll have a problem with it as long as you are on the board enough throughout the day to keep the game going smooth, but ill leave that up to Ravendog

I believe the Commish has to stick with the protective list the previous Sky Owner submitted. Also, the penalty that was given to the previous Sky Owner carries over to the New Sky Owner.

I'll make the team owner switches, to recognize the new owners.

Congratulations and Welcome the Challenge JSpoon, you're now the new owener of the Indiana Fever!

Just read over the rules at the top three blogs on page 1 and the latest ones through out the message. If you have any questions, it would be better to send them to me through private message, to keep the regular board cleaner. It's your call........

Icey23 is now the new owner of the Chicago Sky.

I'll start a new message for this discussion on New Ceiling Limits so we don't overwhelm this one with discussion:

Hey Guys, I have something I need to share with you.............

To The Owners:

I feel very badly about having to make this decision, but I am not going to be able to continue with the Challenge. I am currently attending to a sudden death and funeral regarding a family member in another state along with providing support for another very seriously ill family member that may be critical.

Unfortunately, the Challenge will require more time than I can now spare. Please consider that to administer a game of this magnitude nationally requires constant vigilance of 12-16 hours per day, considering time zones. With expansion of rosters, you will need someone with more available time than I now have to provide the quality support that you need and deserve. I do fully understand, support and respect whatever decision you all reach and hope you continue with the Challenge. Itís a very real life experience and fun!

Everything concerning the Challenge is transparent in the message so it should be relatively easy for the new Commissioner to take over. I will be available through Rebkell should I be needed in any way.

I really enjoyed working and having fun with all of you and I do sincerely hope that you all continue with the Challenge. I have to go.

Thanks,

RavenDog

ravendog,my prayers go out to you and your family.

im more than willing to take over the challenge until you are freed up or until the game it done. i do believe this was a great idea, and i think it will be fun to continue to do in honor of you creating it. if you are ok with this, please let me know. i would just hate to see all the time you put into it go to waste.

RavenDog, I'm very sorry to hear this bad news. My sympathies and best wishes to you & your family. Thank you for creating the WNBA Challenge, because it was a very good idea and you've done a lot of work.

Other owners, I'd also like to continue (only with RavenDog's approval, of course). I think it's feasible if one of us (JRae?) takes a leadership role, and the rest of us are cooperative in making decisions. I'd like to propose publicly posting the list of protected players.

My deepest sympathies RavenDog. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

I too am willing to take over the game if you would like JRae. I'm on here any time I am not sleeping or in school. But you are on here a lot too, so if you are alright with becoming the new commissioner than your time will be much appreciated!
