The inaugural WPS Championship Game will be held today at the Home Depot Center in LA. Broadcast starts at 3:30PM ET on FSN and CSN.
I'm getting the delayed broadcast tomorrow, so I'll try to avoid this board for a while. Wink

if you had told me in march that sky blue would win the title and the liberty wouldn't make the playoffs...dang.

Well, the Liberty aren't dead yet. They're only like three games back of the Sky...and the Sky show every sign of rolling over.

I'm shocked that Sky Blue FC was able to beat LA when, in three matches against LA during the regular season, they couldn't even score a goal. I'll say this, too: I never saw a red card during the regular season in any of the Sunday night games of the week that Fox Soccer Channel televised...until the title game yesterday. The red card against that LA defender (I can't remember her name) changed the whole outlook of the game for LA.

That said, Sky Blue FC should not only allow Kristie Rampone to remain as a head coach-player but also triple whatever they're paying her. Who EVER would've thought Sky Blue FC would MAKE THE PLAYOFFS...much less win the whole thing! WOW!!! So WAY TO GO NJ and WAY TO GO KRISTIE RAMPONE! Very Happy
