Not many teams have been outshot by the Connecticut Sun. Becky Hammon’s absence may explain why the San Antonio Silver Stars were off target against them last month.

With their All-Star guard expected to be on the floor, the Silver Stars look for a better effort this time as they host the Sun on Friday night.

Connecticut (6-6) is shooting a WNBA-low 38.7 percent from the field, with no other team making worse than 40.0 percent of its shots. Though the Sun shot 39.0 percent (30 for 77) versus the Silver Stars (6-6) on June 21, they cruised to a 71-58 victory.

No, she's still out. Three weeks.

Anete Jekabsone-Zogota may not be playing, 50-50 chance. Rolled her ankle in practice.

Other than that, everyone else should be playing.

I think it was mentioned a while back that SA is not participating in the video portion of Live Access.

Really don't understand this. They webcast their last game, so we know they've got the technology in place in San Antonio. 'Clashing somehow with the local TV deal' is a joke excuse. What, can they not afford the fucking bandwidth? Weird.

Why is it that no one in the WNBA can successfully defend Becky Hammon in the 4th Qtr of games???? Is she really that fast???? She is 5 foot nothing and has no mid-range game....she only has the scoop lay-up shot and a 3-pt shot....why is that so hard to defend???? why doesn't this girl pick up way more offensive fouls???? don't the opposing team's post players know the scouting report EVER????

The way Frazee has played the last couple games, I don't see her being cut... and if she is, someone might want to snap her up.
