For me, I think it has to do with C-Rob and Baranova each not having a great year... Nova used to get to the FT line pretty well, and would shoot and score more which would open up the defenses. The season is past the halfway mark and Nova has only shot ~18 FTs. Her 3pt numbers are similarly down, and Meka seems to have the green light to shoot the 3 even though she's shooting ~19% from beyond the arc...

But yes, late in the last few games, it seems that Patty tells the team to stop running and getting the ball down low and instead settle for jumpers. I imagine that their legs are going to be tired for the game against SAC, so I suppose they'll be even less running...

NY should have really blown PHO out in that game..
