I hope you guys are doing better than we are. I just finished practice today and we are a little down. We are coming off a tough loss against Indiana on Sunday. We have lost nine of our last 11. I think I said a couple of weeks ago that we just couldn’t find a way to translate what we do in practice into games. Well, we still can’t figure it out.

When I was a kid, I remember having a lot of questions about what professional athletes did with their time. My biggest question was what do they do when they are on the road. Now that I’ve been on some road trips, I can give you the definitive answer: Not Much!! It’s not the glamorous life you may think. We spend the majority of the time watching movies and hanging out. We either rent movies in the hotel or go to the movies. By the way, I highly recommend “War of the Worlds.” Of course, we try to spend some time shopping. Depending on where we go and what our schedules are, we might even get a bit of time to actually explore the city. Personally, I like going to Seattle. I have a lot of family in the area, so it makes me feel like I am at home. These are the times that we really get to know each other as friends. It’s sort of like our summer camp. You really get to know each other when you go somewhere and you have no choice but to spend time with each other. And, oh yeah, we play a little basketball…

On that ESPN show Teammates they asked Swin the one thing Cheryl spends too much money on.

The answer was purses.
