7/11 Asjha Jones

I feel your pain, Queenie! My picks have been tanking this week, too. Not that I expected CP3 numbers out of Hodges, but still.

Well, Kara Lawson sucked for me yesterday. Rolling Eyes

18 from TSB today. Not bad, I guess. Better than Kara's 8 Rolling Eyes

7/11 Katie Smith

7/12 Sophia Young

Asjha turned out to be a good choice. Now if Sophia lives up to her potential, I might be able to have a decent week after all.

Katie Smith, thank you very much. 31 PRA! Awesome.

7/12 Candice Wiggins (Already picked her before the SA/Minny game, but I think she would be an excellent pick today. San Antonio embarrassed them yesterday. I gotta think Candice is going to go off.

7/14 Tina Thompson. She may not be as proficient, but she is still the Warrior Princess!

64 points last week, and 35 of them were from Candice Dupree in the Wednesday game. If only I'd had Montgomery the day I had Paris, Paris the day I had Vaughn, and Vaughn the day I had Jekabsone-Zogota.

Betty tonight. This week could only be worse than last if a meteorite is involved.

7/17 Swin Cash. So far a mediocre week, and probably slated to continue in that vein.

7/18 Kraayvelde
7/19 Riley

This really isn't a good week for me. Confused

I had Tamika Whitmore for today, but I swapped her out for Amber Holt.

I'm sticking with Kraayvelde for Saturday, but with Riley injured, I'll take Megan Frazee for Sunday. Here's hoping she gets additional playing time and can even improve on her production from Friday.

This is going to be a tough couple of weeks for me, since I'm using the backloading strategy. I have Ketia Swanier tonight. My last week of July includes Kristi Harrower and Alexis Hornbuckle.

I am really starting to loathe Pick One.

Hey, man. At least you only lost one day. I lost several brain cells from beating my head against the wall at my team.

Harding tonight, Powell on Sunday. Kids, with my luck, this means take Harding or Swanier on Sunday if you can.

Yeah, but it's just dumb of me to have a injured player today -_- I should have checked up and changed that entry.

Next pick: Shameka Christon

7/29 I had LLL. Swapped her out for CP3 and Lisa is now slotted for August 6th. If she isn't ready to go, I'll have more options to revert to then.

8/1 Belinda Snell (subject to change.)
8/2 Shavonte Zellous

From here on out, it's pretty much a crap shoot.

How's that working for ya? Snell 10, Latta 6. Ouch! Either way I was hosed.

Dear Chasity Melvin:

For Sunday's game, FUCK YOU WITH THE POWER OF A THOUSAND SUNS WHAT THE FUCK WAS THAT YOU ARE A TEN-YEAR VETERAN OF THE WNBA HOW THE FUCK DO YOU ONLY PUT UP 2 POINTS AND 1 ASSIST WHICH MEANS ZERO REBOUNDS FOR A GODDAMN CENTER.

Love,
Q

Moving on to this week, which will hopefully suck marginally less than last:

8/4: Becky Hammon
8/5: Chen Nan
8/6: Shalee Lehning
8/7: Cheryl Ford
8/8: Iziane Castro Marques
8/9: Roneeka Hodges

This will be the first, last, and only time I will hope for Hammon not to suck. Or indeed, for the earth to swallow her whole.

I feel your pain, Queenie! I have her down for Sunday this week. I can only hope her last game was a one off.

As this seems to be the new format, my week shapes up this way:
8/4 Camille Little
8/5 Shyra Ely
8/6 Chamique Holdsclaw
8/7 Kara Braxton
8/8 Tammy Sutton-Brown
8/9 Chasity Melvin

8/13 Anete Jekabsone-Zogota
8/14 Rebekah Brunson
8/15 Courtney Paris
8/16 Monique Currie

Only one I have my doubts about is Brunson for Friday. That one could change.

8/15 I may be sorry, but switching Quanitra Hollingsworth in for Courtney Paris. The Whiz only played the other CP3 7+ minutes in LA, and I don't see her getting a lot more in Sacramento against Lisa and Co.

8/21: Le'Coe Willingham (subject to change)
8/22: Kara Lawson
8/23: Taj McWilliams

And a hearty "thank you! fuck you!" goes out to Tan White and Tamika Whitmore for their six-point performances last week.

Am I a genius or what? I had Ajavon, but she hasn't been doing much, so I decide to take Erin Thorn instead. The results? Thorn=8 and Ajavon gets 26. Brilliant! (NOT!)
