Cal... or Berkeley. Putting both is unnecessary. There is only one Cal just like there is only one UT! Evil or Very Mad

Unless of course you intend to label every Texas as Texas-Austin now.

This isn't a new commitment, but Oklahoma added a third player for the 2011 entry class.

Sharane Campbell, a 5'10 wing from Oklahoma City Star Spencer HS who verballed back around the start of May.

Recruiting Update: OU Commit W Sharane Campbell
ESPN HoopGurlz - Sharane Campbell

With her commitment, the Sooners now have verbals from three 2011 ESPN top 100 players:

#42 6'2 PF Kaylon Williams
#53 5'9 PG Dashawn Harden
#65 5'10 W Sharane Campbell

If all three sign with OU, the Sooners will again have 14 players on the 2011 roster, barring injury, retirement or defections.

You do have to be careful when talking to people from other parts of the country. For example, when Big 12 people say OSU, meaning Oklahoma State, I hear Oregon State. It can get confusing.

Yep that's exactly what I was going to say about OSU also.

Paul Franklin of the Home News Tribune, who often has very good sources, is reporting that Shakena Richardson (Hoopgurlz #7) and Syessence Davis (Hoopgurlz #31), both from Neptune High School in New Jersey will announce on Monday that that they will be signing with Rutgers. Earlier this week they said they planned to announce their choice, but hadn't revealed it.

They're both guards, Richardson a point and Davis a combo.

Here's a link: Two for RU

They've now announced it officially.

Here's a link to the Twitter feed of a reporter who went to the announcement: Tweet!
Yay. I truly wanna see Rutgers get their mojo back.

Nneka Enemkpali (Hoopgurlz #37), a F from Pflugerville, TX (just outside of Austin), who verballed to Texas as a sophomore, has reopened her recruiting. She says Texas is still very much in the running, but she wants to go through the process, see all her options.

She was injured in the late spring of her soph year and didn't play that summer, so she was relatively unknown on the national scene. This summer she is playing, and apparently is impressing people. My guess is she is suddenly getting a lot more interest than in the past, and that's what caused the change of heart.

Don't see this mentioned here but Nneka recommitted to Gail and the Longhorns.

Someone named StanfordScout09 has been hitting some of the message boards, claiming that Sheila Boykin (6'1" PF, HG No. 27) has committed to UCLA.

It's exciting news for this Bruin, but I'd feel a bit more at ease about it if it were confirmed in some sort of press clipping or something.
