And I'll repeat kage's request from yesterday - if anyone finds a stream of this, please let the rest of us know. Or even if anyone around here has the equipment and inclination to stream it themselves, it would definitely be appreciated.

That was a nice goal for FC Gold, a couple of nice passes and finished with a header by Eriko Arakawa from a pass by Tiffany Weimer.

Wow, great crowd too. At least it looks good from the TV view Razz

Only thing I dont like about WPS so far are the uniforms. Very bland, and FC GP and LA have very similar black road uniforms. Minor complaint Cool

Isn't FC Gold at home though?

FC Gold has great team chemistry. Their offensive plays for shots have looked really smooth.

I agree, FC Gold is really working well together and using each. There teamwork is really nice to see especially so early in the season when the players are still getting used to each other.

Well ya, I just meant the traditional "road colors".

Youtube highlights are up.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9zanDuxHcqY

No sound though... but cripes, Smith is awesome. She made something out of nothing! I do have to wonder... why is she not getting along with her teammates? Or are the Breakers just not a touchy feely team? You'd think people would be happier about scoring the tying goal but only one girl goes to her and even then, only to slap hands.

...??

It was a bit subdued, wasn't it? She's only been there a couple of weeks though, so understandable there wouldn't be any close relationship yet. It mostly looked to me like they (or Kelly, at least) were thinking "great, we're back in this, now lets go and try and win it", so the main thought was to get back and re-start the game.

She is just a little bit class though, isn't she? Shame that last second curler didn't dip in, because that would've been a real highlight for the league to show off. Haven't really been any of those yet (I'm not even sure there were cameras at the game Marta scored a couple in this weekend).
