According to a source close to the WNBA office, center Michelle Snow today will be selected to compete for the Western Conference in the WNBA All-Star Game at Uncasville, Conn., on Saturday night.

Comets teammate Sheryl Swoopes on Thursday was the top vote-getter for the fifth time in the six-year history of the game.

Starters for the West and East were selected through a fan vote in the 13 WNBA cities. The remainder of each 11-player squad will be announced today.

The coaching staffs of each squad choose the reserves. Anne Donovan of Seattle will coach the West. Mike Thibault of the Connecticut Sun will coach the East.

The sixth annual All-Star Game will be at the Mohegan Sun Arena, the home court of the Sun.
