I dislike gambling personally but I love it as a way to pay Lindsay's salary. 7K isn't bad for Mohegan on a weeknight. Icey, if you want to get upset about attendance, get upset about Houston and Minnesota-- Connecticut's doing fine.

I'm not surprised Vanessa got destroyed-- the only way to learn to play against Margo is to play against her, and Big V had never done that before. I'm a little surprised that Ohlde couldn't do more.

Minnesota is a wonderful home team this year, but a pretty bad road team so far.OTOH, can anyone other than Sacramento get close to the Sun this year?

What do you think it would take to get the ASG way out here maybe soonish? Our little arena holds 17,042, and we packed it twice in a row for the Finals... I understand Seattle is basically on an island as far as the rest of the country is concerned, but Safeco Field was packed 45,000+ for the MLB ASG in 2001. I sort of bought in, for awhile, that Key Arena was just too small, but if a 9,000 seat arena can host one, we can, too. Especially if we're going to perennially have 2 of the 5 starting players for the West.

Pleeeease? We don't get many big national sporting events up here, and they're so few and far between. Maybe I really do live on an island.

Will the ASG ever venture west of the Hudson River?

Okay, so I'm showing my true colors as a semi new follower of the WNBA. I guess it hadn't occured to me that it's only ever been out there. I was assuming they'd had at least one in Houston or LA. I probably just thought that because we've had the trophy out here all these years, and always had the winning AS squad. There is more than one time zone in this country, even if things are only ever advertised in Eastern time.
