Since Cam was mean enough to say that Holdsclaw and Teasley would be fighting over the last Prozac in the box, can I go ahead and say Reed and Nolan will be fighting over something else like the last bottle of booze?
I hope people understand I'm just kidding, but oh, the possibilites for jokes are simply exciting lol

Brandy didn't have a booze problem. Now if we had Tot on the same team, we could make a good crack about it.

Right, nor does Nolan have a problem with drugs that we know of. But hey, I tried...come on SFO, why don't you sign Tot?
Your team has already superseded the Sharks as the dirtiest in the league anyway, take it a step further.

Everything fell through, because "sista gurl" couldn't get her act together. But come on SFO, are you going to deny there was interest?

We contacted Reed's agent before the season and were on the verge of trying her out for a couple of days. Her agent then killed the workout.
Management and players were VERY leerie about what we were considering, but.....

Hey, I would have done it too... The whole theory of 'head cases' is overrated and overused... it's more about scapegoating than anything.. I've seen it happen to Betty Lennox in Minnesota, and of course, most recently with Kara Braxton.

I think that there are very few players who are truely uncontrollable. At least ones that are put on good teams that is... The difference between Ron Artest in CHI as opposed to IND, and Nick Van Exel in DEN compared to DAL, for example. Idea It's not like Reed was going to go to the Silver Stars or the Mercury...

Besides, it would have been a 'can't lose' situation, as I understand the CBA, that is..

But, you had to try. In the past year, she's had a couple of doors held open for her. You were not alone. Brandy could have been a superstar in this league, her talent is unreal. Sadly, I think she took it all for granted. The clock is running out for her. She's not going to see too many more open doors.

So do I, which is what makes Brandy so extra-special Wink

Well either way would have been fine with me... Looks to me like Seattle is in more need of Reed's services anyways! Shocked Detroit always had the amazingly underrated Ayana 'Sky' Walker who has stepped up, then they bought Plenette Pierson for a song, and now Cash is ready to practice. Idea

And besides, what I've said from the beginning is that The Shock need a high-assisting SF to fill the Swin Hole. And although Reed has been a pretty good assisting 2/3, I doubt she would have converted herself to a point forward just like that... Confused

Reed has talent to be sure. If she's mellowed out since 2001 she's definitely worth a look.

I fully believe that she'll be back in the league someday.

Guys, she's not a head case, it's a bit worse then Betty's ego or Teaselys depression Shocked

Thank you caune. BL was not a 'head case' while in MN. Brian Agler's failed experiment gave him a headache & he shipped her out. As a matter of fact having seen a failed "Planet Reed' experiment here also, I would not put Lennox & Reed in the same boat.
