Izzy is suspended for tonights game, for a 'closed fist punch' thrown at Abrosimova on Sunday. No foul was called on the play. I find it hard to believe, I know I'm biased but... Izzy? Throwing punches? We've got some fiesty girls on our team, a handful of them, but Izzy isn't one of them. JB has a sprained ankle, too, but she's gonna try and play. This could be a very short handed team tonight.

The question is do I listen to Hags and the Comets team I've been listening to for years or switch to those entertaining twin wack jobs from Seattle?

Only listen to the guys from Seattle if you want to hear ALOT about the NBA Draft.

But you also get to hear cute stories about what a professional napper Sue Bird is, and all the places she can sleep on a road trip.

Sheryl wants to take all the shots tonight, she's got a rookie guarding her! And even Betty Lennox for a possession or two. She's got to be licking her chops. Had I known Izzy was out tonight, I would have found a way to afford Swoopes.

I finally bit on the Katie curse. Couldn't let myself go unscathed, I guess.

mique is doing pretty well at that position. (while they're going on and on about leslie and catch doing poorly, mique is quietly doing her thing.) as for swoopes doing it all alone, i suppose that suits chance just fine.

Incredible inconsistencies in officiating in the League this year! If you're a rookie and a non-American rookie - be warned! If there was any consistency Leslie would have been suspended for her closed fist back-hander against Riley.

Now I've lost the Houston feed and I HAVE to listen to those Seattle guys. That's great as long as Seattle's not playing YOUR team. It's anoying as hell tonight. And now Seattle's coming back.

Funny how things can turn your whole damn evening around.

I remember how I felt watching the Comets pasting the Storm in the first half back a few weeks ago. Oh was the jammer having a good time. What a night! Then what happened? Rolling Eyes

Seattle finally figured out the season started, that's what happened. Took them 60 minutes of basketball to start the season.

This is it for me. It's now or never. You either beat the WNBA champs and avenge that disaster in Seattle or I'm going to FREAK.

KICK THEIR ASSES!!!

But do you remember the last time the Storm were in Houston?

You guys gave us the ONLY double digit defeat of the entire year. 13 single digit losses and one 35 point nightmare. *shudders* We owe you another loss I think! Plus you guys got one of only 3 losses at Key Arena last summer. Houston always gives us fits.

I really wish I knew. David said it was 'nothing specific' keeping her on the bench, but that doesn't explain it. 4 minutes left and they put Simone in for Batkovic instead of Lauren. Somethings reeeeally up.

They just said Lauren hasn't played in 12 minutes of game time.

Perhaps it's the always popular "flu like symptoms".

Haha I was thinking that - they had somehow materialised within the game.

Maybe it's disciplinary in some way. I can't imagine Lauren allowing herself to be benched for a physical reason. She played on one leg last year.
