SI.com: Are you cool with Candace even because of the Tennessee thing?
Taurasi: We definitely represent our schools.

Dodge, dodge. What does that actually mean? |

SI.com: What are you going to pack besides your sneakers?
Taurasi: Some Aveno lotion, Aveno bodywash, hairspray -- I know a lot of girls like to bring ranch dressing and snacks, but I'll eat anything they give me. Except cat or dog. |
And the mystery of how Taurasi came back from Russia with food poisoning is now solved. On a side note, during my gap year I toured a certain Asian country and, not realising it, ate a dog. |
Dog doesn't even taste good. I would advise people to stay far away from it. They eat a lot of fucked up things in China though. Like monkey brains. And alligator meat. Good luck, Diana. |
It tastes like anything else. Meat is meat. Although it was a bit stringy and tough which was weird.
And honestly, those aren't that bad IMO. The thing that really gets me is African and European (French) food. Bugs... Snails... :S |

See, that's what I'm talking about. Dog meat is *really* tough and it doesn't even taste that good.
Monkey brains vs snails? Hmm...

I wonder if it all tastes the same... I've tried crab brains before. Apparently eating brains is good for you. Maybe makes you smarter. Who knows. |

never have a meal with kage. |
Aaawww... It's not that bad. Asian food is excellent.
Then again, I grew up around Chinese food so it's not a big deal to me... |

Snails in lots of butter and garlic is divine. Bugs either need a coating (chocolate covered ants) or sauce(bbq grasshoppers). I would not eat bugs straight up or alive.... I have to draw the line there. I prefer my food dead (execpt veggies). We have turtle in our freezer right now... lol
I'm brave enough to eat dinner with kage! lol

On a side and somewhat related note:
I just read an article in today's AZ Republic about AZ's Olympic pole vaulter, April Steiner Bennett. To raise money, she entered and won $50,000 on "Fear Factor", which required she eat live earthworms.
Now THAT'S what I call sacrificing for your sport!
